Windows XP （或 IE６）一般上都支持中文阅读。但有些人的电脑可能没有安装中文输入软件。这种情况下，若想用中文发表，可尝试＂网上输入＂。
虽然，它没有＂中文之星＂那么好用，但寥胜于无。

我常用的＂网上中文输入＂是在 cari 中文网站的：http://chinese.cari.com.my/ime/
我觉得蛮好用的。有兴趣的人，可以自己研究研究一下。

如果你想自己去（不通过旅行社）的话，第一件事，必须预定 Laban Rata （半山）Rest-house 的床位。不要以为很容易可以定到哦。。。一般上，所有 weekend 的日期都会在六个月前就被旅行社预先 book 满了。通常我们只能拿到到 weekdays。等你定到床位后，才好去定机票。

山不难爬，最重要做好御寒措施 。 手套、帽子是少不了的，有卫生衣就最好。早晨到山顶，温度大概 0～５度左右。

另外，Laban Rata Resthouse 是没有插头的，不能煲水、泡茶喝；相机最好自己多准备一个 spare battery。
它的 restaurant 卖东西有点贵，做好心理准备吧。若要自己带食物，带干粮就好，Laban Rata Resthouse 是不准自己煮食的。
